The intrepid, fast growing and hard-to-suppress dandelion serves as the patron flower of entrepreneurs. The Dandi Awards, named after this tenacious, hard to eradicate and hearty plant that thrives even when conditions are hard, celebrates local entrepreneurs who give back to their communities.
Eligible small businesses (with ten or fewer employees and community service as part of their business model) were nominated over the past months and an independent panel of entrepreneurial pros in town judged the 2014 winners. Read the complete article here.
